KYC / Account verification

KYC verification is a crucial part of completing your account signup process.

There are 4 steps to complete KYC with Unocoin.
1. Email address verification
2. Selfie/ ID proof
3. PAN validation
4. Address proof validation (E-Aadhaar/ DL)
5. Bank Documents  

To start the process, you will have to click on the get verified button on the top right corner of the home page.

1. Email address Verification - Customer has to verify the email by providing OTP sent to the email address.

2. Selfie: Capture your clear selfie.

3. PAN validation: Capture the PAN card image and upload the clear copy of the PAN card.  

The PAN card details will be checked and validated.

Note: Minor PAN card is not accepted. To open a Unocoin account, a user has to be above 18 years of age.

4. Address proof validation:

There are 02 ways to validate your proof of address.
- E-Aadhaar verification (EKYC)

In E-KYC you will have to enter the Aadhar number and the page will redirect to the UIDAI website, enter the aadhar number and OTP will be received on your aadhar registered mobile number. Once the OTP is validated it will automatically download and upload the Aadhar.
OR
* DL: You can upload the front and back side of the DL for the address proof.

5. Bank Validation: Enter all the required details of the account Account number, IFSC Code, Bank Name, Name as per the bank document (If you are opening personal account you need to enter the savings bank details)

You will also have to upload the bank statement/ cancelled cheque image to validate your bank account details.

6. Submit your personal information.





The profile status will be in pending post submission of all the documents and details required.

The concerned team will check the documents and the updated details. If the details are valid and correct, the profile will be verified.

If the details are invalid and incorrect, the particular document will be partially rejected. You would have to re-upload the document and update the details.
